We travel to Krakow, Poland by train. The next day we explore the history of Krakow during the German occupation in the Schindler Factory Museum. Later in the day we wandered around the Christmas markets and visited a large Catholic church before heading back to our hotel.

Alaska Sojourn: Where are the Moose in Anchorage?
After a cloudy day on Monday, we woke to another blue sky day on Tuesday. While we were in the city of Anchorage, nature was not far away so we continued to enjoy the nature of Alaska. Chugach State Park is a short drive from Anchorage and offers a number of outdoor activities. We chose to go to the Eagle River section of the park for a hike. The Celebration of Seattle’s Nordic Cultural Heritage
There are a number of great museums in the Seattle area. From the Seattle Art Museum to the Museum of History and Industry, the area is blessed with a wealth of interesting places to visit. One museum that is a little off the beaten trail is the Nordic Museum in the Ballard area. This museum celebrates the history and culture of the Nordic countries.
